Stockholm Open Weiqi Tournament 2024
Stockholm Go club invites everyone to participate in the Stockholm Open Weiqi Tournament. It's an open tournament which means anyone can participate.
Date:
Aug 31st-Sep 1st, 2024
Venue:
The tournament will be held at the China Cultural Center in Stockholm, beautifully located by Kungsträdgården in central Stockholm. The address is Västra Trädgårdsgatan 2 with access to a myriad of restaurants and hotels.
Registration fee:
300 SEK - normal fee
100 SEK - if you are at most 18 years old or if you are ranked lower than 15k
100 SEK - If this is your first tournament and you are at most 2 kyu

Prizes:
1st place - 2800 SEK
2nd place - 1200 SEK
3rd place - 800 SEK
Additional prizes will be awarded to best female player and best junior player.
Rules:
The tournament will be a 5 round MacMahon tournament, with Chinese rules.
Each player will have 60 minutes main time and 3x30 seconds byoyomi.
Komi is set at 7.5.
The tournament will be reported as an EGF A-tournament.
